Kawasaki Velocity Weekend Riding Camp Continues with Second Session at Beranang Horizon Circuit

Kawasaki owners took part in the second round of the Velocity Weekend Riding Camp, continuing the programme’s focus on rider confidence, safety awareness and responsible track riding.

SEMENYIH, 12 July 2026 – Following the successful introduction of the Kawasaki Velocity Weekend Riding Camp in May, MODENAS, through Kawasaki Malaysia, continued the programme with its second session at Beranang Horizon Circuit, Semenyih, further strengthening its ongoing effort to cultivate a responsible and connected Kawasaki riding community.

The second round of the Velocity Weekend Riding Camp continued to provide Kawasaki owners with structured track-riding exposure in a controlled circuit environment. The programme was designed to help riders improve their riding confidence, machine control and safety awareness through guided coaching and practical on-track sessions.

As with the first session, the programme focused on essential track-riding fundamentals, including riding posture, vision control, body positioning, braking technique, cornering approach and guided riding application on track. Participants were able to learn directly from experienced instructors before applying the techniques in a practical riding environment.

Participants received a programme briefing before beginning the practical riding sessions at Beranang Horizon Circuit.

The session was conducted with trainers from i-RIDE Academy, a motorcycle coaching school in Malaysia focused on rider safety, skill development and confidence-building across different experience levels. Through its structured approach, the training provided riders with a better understanding of how to handle their motorcycles safely and effectively in a track setting.

The Velocity Weekend Riding Camp forms part of Kawasaki Malaysia’s wider initiative to go beyond product ownership by offering meaningful brand experiences that combine rider education, community engagement and responsible performance riding.

Through the programme, Kawasaki Malaysia continues to make structured rider development more accessible to its community. Participants are able to join the riding camp at a subsidised fee of RM300, allowing more Kawasaki owners to experience guided rider coaching without having to bear the full cost typically associated with a one-day professional riding course.

Kawasaki owners received direct guidance from i-RIDE Academy instructors as part of the structured Zero2Hero Level 1 riding programme.

The second session also reinforced the programme’s role as a platform for Kawasaki owners to connect with fellow riders, trainers and brand partners. Beyond improving riding skills, the camp helps build a stronger sense of community among owners who share the same interest in safe and responsible track riding.

The programme continued to receive support from key partners who contributed to the overall riding experience. LEXIN Malaysia supported the session as intercom partner, while Michelin Tyres supported the riding camp as tyre partner, further enhancing the programme’s overall track-riding environment.

Building on the momentum from the first and second sessions, the next round of the Kawasaki Velocity Weekend Riding Camp is scheduled to take place on 2 August 2026 at Beranang Horizon Circuit.

The Velocity Weekend Riding Camp provided participants with an opportunity to improve riding awareness while engaging with the wider Kawasaki riding community.

Kawasaki owners who are interested in developing their riding skills, gaining proper track exposure and connecting with the wider Kawasaki riding community are encouraged to follow the official Kawasaki Malaysia Facebook page for future updates and registration announcements.

The Kawasaki Velocity Weekend Riding Camp reflects MODENAS and Kawasaki Malaysia’s continued commitment to strengthening rider engagement, promoting safer riding habits and building a more connected motorcycle community in Malaysia, while supporting initiatives that contribute positively to the country’s mobility ecosystem through meaningful brand experiences for motorcycle owners nationwide.
